I’m thrilled to share that my Global Talent Visa application has been approved! This feels like a pivotal moment in my literary journey – official recognition that my work contributes meaningfully to the UK’s cultural landscape.
The process challenged me to articulate not just what I’ve accomplished, but what I hope to contribute to British literature moving forward. From “Life on the Island” to my recent Creativitys UK Award for “Anonymous Letters,” each project has been a step toward finding my voice in this adoptive literary home.
This visa represents more than legal status – it’s validation of the possibility to build bridges between cultures through storytelling. The stories I tell, shaped by Russian heritage and British experience, now have a more secure foundation from which to grow.
Grateful to everyone who supported this journey with recommendations, encouragement, and belief in the work. Here’s to the next chapter of creating stories that explore the spaces between worlds.
